Oxford Builders Supplies Inc., a leading equipment and maintenance supplier, is seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
About the Role
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure continuous business growth
- Assist in the development and execution of area objectives and strategies
- Prepare and execute business development action plans for specific regions and targets
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and brochure materials
- Drive business growth through proactive identification of new opportunities and successful sales
- Determine and implement creative business development strategies to contribute to company growth
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of construction equipment, technology, and methods
- Direct experience in leading self-performed form work projects, planning, scheduling, and managing productivity
- Working knowledge of union jurisdiction and labor agreements
- Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities
- Ability to close and negotiate deals in conjunction with estimating and management of projects
