About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Software Trainer to join our team at PBS Systems. As a key member of our Dealer Management Software (DMS) team, you will be responsible for providing support and training to new and existing customers on our DMS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and develop an understanding of the PBS DMS software and its various modules, including sales, service, inventory management, and accounting.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for customers, both virtually and in-person, to ensure they are proficient in using our software.
  • Assist customers with data entry and other key tasks, ensuring they are able to effectively utilize our software to manage their dealership operations.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying their needs and ensuring they are being met or exceeded.
  • Respond to internal and external training requests in a timely manner, providing excellent support to our customers.
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, escalating them to the corresponding teams as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge-sharing initiatives within the DTO team, ensuring that best practices and processes are documented and up-to-date.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
  • 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or a similar field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month, with a valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable) and valid full-class driver's license.
