Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Resolve complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, including taking, canceling, and changing room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area
  • Exchange foreign currency and process guests' departures, calculating charges and receiving payments
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform clerical duties as needed
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, and provide customer service
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy
