We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as a Provincial Coordinator, Health-Care Community Of Practice. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those living with dementia and their families.

Job Overview:

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $73,000 to $77,000 per year, offering a 3-year grant-funded term with potential for extension.

The Provincial Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for the health-care provider community of practice, ensuring continuous learning and peer support programs for workers in long-term care.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience designing and developing online learning and training programs, preferably in a non-profit or health-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative microlearning opportunities to enhance trainee engagement and continued learning.
  • Collaborate with the health-care provider education Master Trainers to ensure alignment between the provincial community of practice deliverables and goals of the standardized health-care provider education program.
  • Provide email and phone support to program trainees.
  • Develop systems for measuring engagement and utilization of the community of practice deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or relevant degree in public health, education, gerontology, social work, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering online adult education and training programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult education, training, and program development best practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
