We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional in Dementia Education and Training to join our team.

**About the Position**

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people living with dementia and their caregivers.

As a Senior Professional, you will play a key role in developing and implementing education and training programs that promote person-centered care and support.

You will work closely with our team to design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and online courses that cater to the needs of health-care providers, caregivers, and individuals affected by dementia.

**Responsibilities**

* Develop and implement comprehensive education and training programs that align with the Society's strategic objectives*

* Collaborate with our team to design engaging training content, including workshops, online courses, and resources for healthcare providers, caregivers, and individuals affected by dementia*

* Provide expert guidance and support to our staff and stakeholders on dementia-related topics, including person-centered care, dementia management, and caregiver support*

* Conduct research and analysis to inform the development of evidence-based education and training programs*

* Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote our education and training programs*

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

* A post-secondary education or relevant degree in a field such as gerontology, social work, nursing, or a related field*

* 3-5 years of experience working in a healthcare or social services setting, preferably with a focus on dementia care*

* Strong knowledge of dementia, including its causes, symptoms, and effects on individuals and families*

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills*

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team*

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively*

* Familiarity with adult learning principles and best practices in education and training*
