**About the Position**

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Education Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of educational programs for dementia care communities in British Columbia.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to design, deliver, and evaluate online learning initiatives that promote continuous learning, peer support, and professional development for healthcare professionals.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans for education and training programs aligned with the Society's strategic objectives.
  • Create innovative microlearning opportunities to enhance trainee engagement and continued learning.
  • Collaborate with Master Trainers to ensure alignment between education programs and training goals.
  • Provide email and phone support to program trainees.
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and related partners to understand learner needs.

**Requirements:*

  • 3-5 years of experience designing and developing online learning and training programs.
  • Experience working with people living with dementia or older adults is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult education, training, and program development best practices is considered an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
