About the Role
The Dementia Program Coordinator, Provincial Support plays a pivotal role in enhancing operations and supporting teams in delivering impactful services. This position ensures smooth coordination across projects, leveraging an organized and solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination and Administrative Support
- Create and implement plans for provincial programs, providing administrative support, including planning, tracking, and ensuring deadlines are met for external reporting to funders and partners.
- Schedule project team meetings and take minutes.
- Coordinating and implementing efficiencies for external materials, inventory management, ordering, coordinating production and printing of new resources, and supporting part-time staff and/or volunteers with inventory and distribution.
- Internal Resource Management
- Implement and lead review and update cycles to ensure up-to-date, standardized, and effective processes and resources (e.g., manuals and guidelines), collaborating with regional programming coordinators.
- Support and optimize use of programming tools such as the attendance tracker.
- Internal Communications and File Management
- Develop a system to simplify and streamline departmental updates and other communications.
- Review, optimize, and maintain file management systems.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a non-profit organization providing community-based social services.
- Very strong communication skills.
