Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Alma Counselling. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff and clients, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to staff and clients, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Manage office supplies, maintain inventory, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Assist with reception duties, including greeting clients and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including entering client information into databases.
  • Develop and maintain manual and computerized filing systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Knowledge of Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
