Job Description
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain consistency and quality across all menu items.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maximize productivity and efficiency while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resource allocation.
- Recruit and hire staff with relevant experience and skills to complement our existing team.
- 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent position in a similar establishment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful menu strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations, as well as employment laws and practices.
- The Royal Hotel offers a competitive salary range of $45,000-$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
