**As General Manager, You Will**

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front and back-of-house operations. The General Manager must demonstrate outstanding leadership, managing, mentoring, and motivating the Sims team. Our General Manager is passionate about the restaurant industry and dedicated to the growth of the brand, forward-thinking with a positive attitude who puts guest service first.
- Oversee the successful running of the restaurant, working to achieve the financial, marketing, and human resources goals and objectives as set by Sims and Murphy Hospitality Group
- Oversee all restaurant financials such as labour costs, cost of goods sold, and costing team schedules
- Demonstrate and communicate the Sims vision to all team members and lead by example
- Work with the MHG People Team to conduct all team member hiring and proper training; experience in recruiting and hiring an asset
- Ensure team members provide a memorable guest experience through coaching and fostering a positive working culture by reinforcing the MHG values daily, exciting team members with their positive nature
- Encourage a culture that revolves around memorable guest experiences, summer fun, and quality food
- Work with the restaurant management team to ensure successful restaurant operations, developing workloads, providing mentorship and coaching
- Work with the Head Chef and their team to ensure food menu standards are met as set out by Sims team and MHG Executive Chef
- Aid in restaurant menu development
- Guest and team member management through conflict resolution and problem-solving, build and maintain authentic relationships with guests and team members
- Perform all front-of-house duties as needed, including hosting, bartending, serving, and expediting

- Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balancing different priorities and duties
- Must be a positive, goal-oriented individual with a desire for personal and professional development within the hospitality industry

**What You Bring**
- A post-secondary diploma/degree in business or hospitality is an asset
- 3+ years experience working as a General Manager in a full-service restaurant
