Job Description

The Strategic Rewards Professional will play a key role in the administration of Total Rewards programs, ensuring alignment with company priorities and initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts research, analysis, and program design to manage vendor relations in multiple areas of Total Rewards, including retirement savings, benefits, expatriate benefits, disability, and employee assistance programs.
  • Provides education, analysis, and support related to Total Rewards as needed, producing monthly/quarterly/annual reports for stakeholders.
  • Responsible for administering Total Rewards documentation, ensuring it is relevant, current, and easily accessible.
  • Covers day-to-day operational requirements for benefits programs, liaising between district HR representatives, benefits carriers, and third-party administrators. Supports employees with enrollment processes, queries, and claims submission.
  • Supports the disability management process, acting as a point of contact between employees, managers, HR representatives, and carriers, upholding employee medical information privacy.
  • Administers the Employee and Family Assistance program, including employee communications and education, monitors trends, tracks vendor reporting and data, and employee referrals when necessary.
  • Responsible for group retirement savings plans administration, serving as the main contact for employees and HR.
  • Collaborates with other corporate departments and the HR Leadership team to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of progressively more complex experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups and navigating the complexity of different interests, perspectives, and objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles, practices, procedures related to Total Rewards and applicable legislation.
  • Ability to anticipate, assess, and adapt to changing priorities, maintain resiliency, and effectively work in a changing environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and formats.
