Procurement Specialist with Expert Contract Management

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Government of Northwest Territories' procurement efforts.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on tendering, contracting, contract administration, and contract management. You will work closely with various departments, boards, and agencies to ensure that procurement activities are carried out in a controlled manner with due regard for risk management.
Requirements- Achieved Level 4 status with the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) or equivalent level with the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP)
- Diploma in Commerce or Business Administration or 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, contract management, and administration
The Government of Northwest Territories offers a competitive salary range from $100,269 to $119,749 per year, plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700. Additional benefits include a generous defined benefit pension plan, annual leave, health/dental benefits, and relocation assistance if needed.
