Job Title: Hydrotechnical Expert for Water Resources

Water Canada is seeking a highly skilled Hydrotechnical Expert to join our Water Resources team in Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surface water resources engineering and experience working with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.

We offer a competitive salary of CAD $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, we provide excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role:
This position involves leading or supporting water resources projects, including flood assessments, flood mapping, and flood mitigation designs. You will also be responsible for participating in various water resources engineering projects at the proposal, planning, and execution stages. Additionally, you will provide engineering support on cost estimates, specifications, and input to contract documents prior to and during construction.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
- Eligibility for immediate registration with APEGA as a Professional Engineer.
- 5 years minimum experience in surface water resources engineering projects.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
- Valid driver's license.
