Job Summary

Arctic Tours Canada is seeking an experienced Travel Developer and Market Engagement Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing memorable holiday experiences that support the Arctic Tours Canada brand.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $17 per hour plus gratuities. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, partnering with internal and external teams, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect and analyze market research data to inform trip development.
  2. Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and lead the analysis of proposals.
  3. Negotiate contracts and collaborate on itinerary design.
  4. Vet potential partners and establish new travel partner relationships.
  5. Create compelling presentations and training sessions to share new products with teams.
  6. Partner with the Experiences Operations team to ensure seamless execution from development to operations.
  7. Manage social media platforms and create marketing materials for tradeshows and brochure flyers.
Requirements
  • Project management experience with a focus on tourism industry knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
  • Fluency in multiple languages including English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
