Job Description

The Senior Health and Safety Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being of employees and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations across all Det'on Cho-owned enterprises. This position involves providing technical support, ensuring adherence to regulations, overseeing training, and promoting a safety culture.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective OHS programs to minimize hazards and protect employees from occupational risks
- Conduct risk assessments for new projects and enforce preventative measures
- Provide direct OHS coaching to site JOSH committees, management, and employees
- Manage the Site Docs System and ensure completion of corrective actions
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project safety performance

Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety management
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of an OHS program on projects of increasing complexity
- Thorough comprehension of Federal, Provincial, and local regulations regarding Occupational Health and Safety
- Ability to freely access all points of a work site in wide-ranging climates and environments
- Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites as needed

Compensation
This position comes with a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a great work environment, Det'on Cho Management LP offers a generous benefits package, including:
