Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Chalice Canada is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate HR activities to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Plan and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other HR programs.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes.
  • Advise senior management on HR-related matters.
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy.
  • Recruit and hire staff to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage knowledge and best practices in HR.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures.
  • Perform HR-related duties such as personnel selection.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in HR.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Judgement, organized, team player, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, values and ethics, and accountability.
