Human Resources Coordinator

Chalice Canada is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive work environment.
- Coordinate HR activities to meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Plan and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
- Administer benefit employment equity and other HR programs.
- Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information.
- Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes.
- Advise senior management on HR-related matters.
- Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy.
- Recruit and hire staff to meet organizational needs.
- Manage knowledge and best practices in HR.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures.
- Perform HR-related duties such as personnel selection.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in HR.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Judgement, organized, team player, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, values and ethics, and accountability.
