We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Workforce Coordinator to join our team at Moody Hall Enhanced Care in Bedford, NS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering HRIS and Workforce Systems throughout the employee life cycle, including system initiation, resignations, terminations, and status changes according to established procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and participating in classroom orientation of new employees
- Analyzing and validating timecards in the processing of bi-weekly payroll
- Ensuring accuracy of seniority lists and following established procedures for all internal job postings and associated employee assignments
- Auditing wage and probation for all employees monthly after pay close and making resulting changes
- Acting as a point of contact for all employee requests for information and additional support on scheduling and payroll issues
- Following established procedures for processing time and attendance transactions in the timekeeping system, including leave processing
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Resources, or Payroll Administration.
Previous experience in Human Resources and/or payroll administration in a large, complex environment is required, as well as previous experience working in a healthcare setting or using staffing, scheduling, or payroll software.
A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care is essential.
