The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

The Supervisor, Operational Administrative Support, plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the branch. This includes leading and mentoring an administrative team, managing administrative processes, and providing provincial oversight of commission-wide policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising administrative staff and managing branch-specific and commission-wide administrative processes;
  • Deploying staff resources as needed to locations within the Lower Mainland;
  • Providing recommendations and input to the Manager, Operations Business Management, on resource requirements;
  • Maintaining facility-related services, including maintenance, keyscan, and alarm systems, janitorial services, and space planning;
  • Collaborating with Occupational Health and Safety department (OHS), Security and Emergency Services (SES) to establish and execute procedures and protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration or a related field;
  • Considerable experience in administrative support or office management in a large/complex organization;
  • Exceptional knowledge of administrative procedures and practices in a large complex organization;
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities;
  • Exceptional customer service, oral and written communication, presentation, consultative, consensus building, conflict resolution, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in office software applications and tools, including Microsoft Office products and other resource booking softwares;
  • Tier 1 CRC.
