**Job Overview:**
The YMCA of the National Capital Region is seeking an experienced Human Resources Labour Relations Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our staff and clients, ensuring compliance with employment laws, conducting investigations, managing grievances, and arbitrations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a positive work environment
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Conducting thorough investigations into employee complaints and misconduct
- Managing labour relations matters, including grievances and arbitrations
- Creating a comprehensive digital repository of labour relations tools accessible to YMCAs across Canada

This position requires a commitment to the Y mission and core values of responsibility, honesty, caring, respect, and inclusion. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with managers and staff to resolve labour relations issues.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Labour Relations or a related field
- Fluent in English (oral and written); bilingualism is an asset
- Solid background in HRIS
- Mandatory training for the protection of Children & Youth annually
- Quality Focus: Setting and surpassing success criteria
**Benefits:**
