About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President – Client Relationships to join our Business Development Team at ACM Advisors. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in executing our fund marketing strategies and capital raising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to promote ACM's funds to potential investors.
  2. Manage and maintain our database of leads and contacts, focusing on the Quebec, Atlantic, and Ottawa markets.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Development Team to create marketing materials, including translations to French, in compliance with relevant Securities Act requirements.
  4. Respond to incoming requests for product information, including formal RFPs, in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Execute a disciplined lead generation program, utilizing targeted research, emails, phone calls, and follow-ups to identify new business opportunities.
  6. Provide in-person and remote presentations to prospects, as required, in both French and English.
  7. Implement relationship management programs, including annual lunches and special events, to foster strong client relationships.
  8. Work closely with the Client Servicing Team to track updates to client accounts and requests for servicing.
  9. Assist the Client Servicing Team in the monthly subscription closing process, including follow-up with clients for any missing information.
  10. Deliver customized monthly, quarterly, and annual updates to investment advisors and other current clients, as required, in both French and English.
  11. Network at industry conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
Requirements
  1. 5-10 years of experience in a similar role or with similar attributes in the investment management industry.
  2. Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree.
  3. Completed Canadian Securities Course.
  4. CFA charter holder or MBA is an asset.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.
  6. Sound knowledge of marketing and sales practices for financial products.
  7. Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a bonus.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and travel as required.
