TandemLaunch is on the lookout for a Senior Vice President of Technical Sales for one of our portfolio companies that specializes in innovative hardware solutions. This organization is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art hardware products for audio applications, catering to both B2B and B2C sectors. As they expand their operations, they are eager to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Vice President of Technical Sales to their team.

We seek a Senior Vice President of Technical Sales who can work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure that customer requirements for both new and existing offerings are fulfilled. This role will involve creating a pipeline for new clientele, securing new contracts, and propelling the company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaboration with Product Teams: Engage with the product team to grasp customer requirements and ensure these are addressed through innovative product solutions.
  2. Sales Leadership: Spearhead and execute the sales strategy, concentrating on building a strong pipeline of new clients while nurturing existing partnerships.
  3. Market Expansion: Discover and develop new opportunities within the B2B and B2C hardware markets, enhancing our market footprint.
  4. Technical Communication: Simplify complex technical language and convey it effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
  5. Startup Mentality: Bring a startup mindset and a proactive approach, ready to engage directly with challenges and drive solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Significant experience in technical sales (5+ years), ideally within the hardware sector.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of the B2B and B2C hardware landscape.
  3. A proven history of generating new business and fostering sales growth.
  4. Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams, particularly in product development.
  5. Outstanding communication abilities, capable of demystifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  6. Experience in startup environments is a notable advantage.
  7. A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and achieving objectives.
