About the RoleAs a Strategic Business Development Director, you will be responsible for defining and implementing business development strategies for our Custom Experiences division. This will involve managing and planning inbound leads, business development activities, and strategic customer accounts.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Business Opportunity Management
- Develop and implement business strategies in collaboration with General Managers to optimize business opportunities for the division.
- Analyze performance indicators using available tools and ensure compliance with company rules and procedures.
- Produce a comprehensive action plan to achieve set objectives and sales growth.
- Monitor and analyze results of Custom business unit action plans and take corrective measures as needed.
- Cultivate relationships with customers through regular communication, including telephone calls and meetings.
- Design programs and activities to foster loyalty and long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Mentor, motivate, and grow the Customs business development team.
- Collaborate closely with international offices and the Originals team.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and supplier changes.
- Work with marketing and communications teams to develop strategic orientations and adapted tactics.
- Contribute to public relations strategies and press events as required.
- Business Relations with Customers and Strategic Partners
- Foster strong relationships with key players in the business community and government officials.
- Develop and maintain privileged contact and stable communication with identified customers.
- Pursue potential customers based on targeted priority markets and regions.
- Synchronize strategies and objectives assigned to MF representatives by market sector.
- Provide day-to-day support to teams as needed on projects under development.
We're looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in business development. Your skills and qualifications include:
- University degree in business administration, production, economics, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in business development.
- Proficiency in Google tools.
- Experience in an artistic field related to one of our areas of activity.
- Skills and practical experience in international development.
- Practical experience of trade shows, conferences, and networking platforms.
- Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written.
- Other languages are an asset.
