Job Description
This role requires a deep understanding of business needs and strategic advisory skills to determine acquisition strategies for contracts, select suppliers, negotiate and prepare contracts. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure BDC and suppliers meet contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, strategic, and high-risk procurement processes in information technology.
- Advise internal clients on procurement and evaluation strategies, ensuring fairness and effective risk management.
- Prepare procurement process documents, gather input, and manage selection committees.
- Analyze tenders, negotiate, and award contracts.
- Implement required changes to support responsible procurement goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in administration or relevant training.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in strategic procurement in information technology.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong business sense and ability to determine best procurement strategies.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Courage and influence to drive decisions.
