Strategic Sales Director for Business Solutions

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to fill the role of Director of Sales.
This strategic position plays a key member in our leadership team, steering sales department towards achieving and surpassing organizational goals.
Sales Leadership
- Lead Sales Managers: Inspire and motivate sales teams to surpass daily activity goals.
- Sales Process Implementation: Oversee value-added sales process ensuring adherence to established discount levels necessary to achieve Gross Profit (GP) objectives.
- Challenge Resolution: Address and resolve challenges faced by sales staff, particularly securing hardware revenue.
- Performance Review: Conduct regular strategic sales meetings to review performance, forecast, and refine branch strategies.
- Customer Engagement: Play an active role in customer demonstrations to enhance overall sales efforts.
Administrative Oversight
- Corporate Policies: Enforce adherence to corporate policies and manage corporate assets responsibly.
- Payroll Compliance: Ensure compliance with all payroll procedures and standards.
Recruiting and Training
- Staff Recruitment: Oversee recruitment, testing, and hiring of sales staff aligning with corporate hiring policies.
- Sales Workshops: Develop and conduct monthly 'Sales Workshops' focusing on strategic and timely sales employee developmental needs.
- New Hire Preparation: Ensure all new sales representatives are prepared for company-sponsored introductory sales schools.
People Leadership Skills
- Clear Expectations: Set clear expectations for sales revenue and professional development for Sales Managers.
- A proven track record in competitive selling and account management with at least 7 years of experience in office products and solutions sales environments (including 2 years in sales management).
- Proficient in PC and network concepts with the ability to apply these skills to understand and deliver printing solutions.
- The ability to deliver high-quality sales presentations to key decision-makers.
- Own vehicle with valid insurance and a valid driver's license in good standing.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
