Job Description

This key role requires a seasoned sales manager who can work closely with the general manager, sales team, and store managers to develop and implement sales development initiatives. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving sales objectives, promoting NAPA marketing programs to district customers, and recruiting, developing, and motivating a talented sales team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the general manager, sales team, and store managers to develop and implement sales development initiatives.
  • Accountable for achieving sales objectives and promoting NAPA marketing programs to district customers.
  • Recruit, develop, assess, train, and motivate a talented sales team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the sales team and corporate stores staff within the district.
  • Participate in monthly district/ regional meetings and lead regular meetings with the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest news, ideas, and information in the assigned district.
  • Implement corporate and regional sales development initiatives to maintain market position.
  • Follow-up regularly on district sales results by producing weekly and monthly performance reports.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other technologies.
  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field (asset).
  • Experience in the automotive field is considered an asset.
Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
