About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Provincial Director to lead the development of an integrated provincial trauma system and improve trauma care delivery across the province. This role will work in partnership with system stakeholders, including Zone Leadership, the IWK Health Centre, Emergency Health Services, and the Department of Health and Wellness, to develop and execute strategic and operational plans that support excellence in trauma care and improvement in health outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline, a Master's degree in a health-related discipline or related subject, and at least 7-10 years of relevant clinical leadership experience with progressive accountabilities for strategy, planning, and quality management. They will also have excellent leadership, relationship-building, and organizational skills, as well as experience working in a co-leadership model and trauma care or trauma system. Additionally, they will have the ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.

Hours

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 75-hour biweekly schedule. Some travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will be eligible for a competitive hourly rate of $53.9102 - 67.3876 and a benefits package that includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. They may also be eligible for a Market Adjustment of 2% until April 2025.
