Job Description:

As an Operational Resilience Manager at EightSix Network, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airport's safe and efficient operation during disruptions and emergencies. This position is part of our Airport Operations Department, reporting directly to the Director, Service Delivery & Resilience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain emergency planning procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners to establish effective relationships and facilitate communication.
  • Lead emergency planning initiatives and projects, including legislated major training exercises.
  • Maintain and update relevant documents, such as YVR Operations Directives and Plans.
  • Support corporate-wide activities related to Business Continuity Planning framework implementation.
Key Qualifications:
  • Five years of recent experience in a leadership role within an operational environment (emergency planning) supplemented by a bachelor's degree in public safety, public administration, business continuity, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-agency, full-scale emergency exercise and simulation planning and delivery; disaster planning and response.
  • Proven decision-making skills to manage operational and emergency situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risks and threats according to defined protocols and procedures.
Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on 37.5-hour work week. You will also be eligible for an annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
