Overview

As our Chief Technology Strategist, you will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of IT systems, infrastructure, and teams that support our daily operations and long-term technological goals.

This role demands a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on management skills to ensure seamless operation of our systems and networks, aligning with our company's mission and enhancing overall business functionality.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a forward-thinking, detail-oriented professional with technical expertise and managerial skills to make a lasting impact. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cloud Operations Leadership
    • Manage the operations of all cloud-based systems, including SaaS and IaaS solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
    • Develop and maintain IT policies and protocols to align with industry standards and best practices, optimizing system uptime and resilience.
  • Comprehensive Systems Understanding
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), WMS (Warehouse Management System), and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms, as well as third-party integrations.
    • Serve as the expert on these systems, bridging the gap between IT and other departments by simplifying processes and aligning technical solutions with business needs.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Oversee the growth and development of the IT team, including managing recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation processes.
    • Foster a collaborative culture that promotes knowledge sharing, career development, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Lead and coordinate cross-functional IT project teams, ensuring smooth execution and delivery on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate with other departments to support their technical needs, driving efficiencies and fostering a cooperative environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Technical Expertise in Cloud Computing, including experience with deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based resources.
  • Programming Knowledge, with experience working with modern APIs and frameworks like Vue and React.
  • Minimum 5 Years in IT Management, with demonstrated experience overseeing technology teams and managing IT projects end-to-end.

Educational Background and Experience Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in technology management or specific technical competencies are a plus.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $140,000-$190,000, dependent on the candidate's relevant skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
