Job Title: Industrial Territory Development Representative

Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment Calgary. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

Your primary focus will be on selling heavy equipment throughout your assigned territory, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers and provide them with exceptional service. You will work closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless customer satisfaction and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through excellent communication, product knowledge, and customer service
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and expand market share
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in sales or account management, preferably in the heavy equipment industry
  • Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays
