About the Role:

The Territory Sales Representative, Industrial will be responsible for selling industrial heavy equipment throughout their assigned territory. This individual will serve as an ambassador for JJE Industrial products and a solution provider for our customers.

  • You are a great relationship builder with a self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
  • You have a dynamic and positive attitude, with mechanical aptitude and knowledge of heavy equipment.
  • You possess advanced verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional customer service and sales skills.
  • You are able to plan and execute work independently, using discretion while working and maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy.
  • You are able to travel and work within a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all sales activities within assigned territory, with a focus on increasing sales year over year in alignment with established targets.
  • Collaborate and work effectively with Industrial team and customer support.
  • Manage current accounts.
  • Prospect, build and maintain new customer relationships.
  • Provide demonstrations and training as required to effectively represent the industrial product lines represented within the territory.
  • Attend industry events, training or tradeshows to ensure up-to-date knowledge on JJE products and to represent JJE in the industry.
  • Prepare forecasts and reports related to assigned territory.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related program, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and possess or have the ability to obtain a CDL license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • 4+ years' experience in an Outside Sales/Sales Manager role or a related Sales position.
  • Experience with the full sales cycle (prospecting, demos, quoting, deliveries).
  • Exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck work environment is an asset.
  • Previous experience in an industrial, utility, or construction environment.
  • Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
