Industrial Sales Representative, Territory Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Sales Representative, Territory Manager to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment Calgary. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization that is committed to providing best-in-class products and services to municipalities and contractors across Canada and the US.
About the JobThis position is responsible for selling industrial heavy equipment throughout their territory, serving as an ambassador for JJE Industrial products and a solution provider for customers. The successful candidate will have excellent relationship-building skills, be self-motivated and results-oriented, and possess a dynamic and positive attitude. They must also have mechanical aptitude and knowledge of heavy equipment, advanced verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional customer service/sales skills.
Key Responsibilities- Sell industrial heavy equipment throughout their assigned territory
- Collaborate and work effectively with the Industrial team and customer support
- Manage current accounts and build new relationships
- Provide demonstrations and training as required to effectively represent JJE product lines
- Attend industry events, training, or tradeshows to ensure up-to-date knowledge on JJE products and represent JJE in the industry
- Prepare forecasts and reports related to assigned territory
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A Post-Secondary Diploma in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related program, or equivalent experience
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract and the ability to obtain a CDL license
- The ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- 4+ years of experience in an Outside Sales/Sales Manager role or a related Sales position
- Experience with the full sales cycle (prospecting, demos, quoting, deliveries)
- Exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck work environment is an asset
- Previous experience in an industrial, utility, or construction environment
- Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $65,000-$75,000 per year, plus a strong commission structure.
