Job Description

As an Industrial Sales and Account Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to develop and adjust sales strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions for complex product lines. You will also focus on division-specific initiatives such as new product introductions and specific target markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales growth and customer retention in a dynamic territory to exceed sales forecasts for Abrasive Systems Division products within the Industrial Marketplace.
  • Develop and adjust sales strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions for complex product lines.
  • Focusing on division specific initiatives such as new product introductions and specific target markets.
  • Work cross-functionally with other business disciplines.
  • Deliver attainment on key sales objectives and CRM execution.
  • Support and engage channel, end users, and key accounts with daily sales calls on medium and large customers in corner office meetings and production floor interaction.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations/product demos at distributor partner and end user customer locations (business reviews, product trainings, etc.).
  • Collaborate with 3M support network to maximize partnership with customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Current, valid Driver's License.
Benefits and Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.

Additional Information:

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position. Travel may include up to 30% domestic/international, and relocation assistance may be authorized.
