  4. The role of the Administrative Support is to provide ongoing administrative support to the QC Royalmount laboratory team and to identify opportunities for improvement in administrative processes.
  5. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the receipt of test samples at the laboratory
  • Entering results into LIMS of external laboratories
  • Communicating with various internal and external customers/suppliers/laboratories
  • Sending samples to external laboratories
  • Responsible for archiving and filing analysis documents
  • Responsible for managing laboratory notebooks
  • Managing office supplies inventories and preparing orders
  • Developing and using Excel spreadsheets/databases
  • Any other related tasks
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and LIMS, as well as excellent teamwork skills and the ability to multi-task.
