Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Business Development Strategist for our Broker and Group Channel team.

This role will drive sustainable business outcomes and development within brokers, groups, and associations by leveraging experience, networks, and relationships to enable positive business and customer outcomes, as well as P&L growth and ROI.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales-driven environments, with a strong understanding of the travel industry or related sectors. They will also possess excellent strategic thinking skills, ability to think forward 1-3 years, and be proactive in driving business growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities, expanding our presence within current sales verticals, and serving as a mentor to your team members. You will work closely with senior sales management, marketing, communications, and sales distribution teams to demonstrate a cooperative, team-centric atmosphere focused on identifying initiatives needed to succeed in meeting or exceeding company goals.

You will be expected to provide management with all requested sales reports and sales forecasting, attend relevant trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to remain current on industry issues, increase awareness of competitive offerings and positioning, and promote the company and its products.
