About Our Client
Our client is a government agency with a unique opportunity for an experienced Labour and Employee Relations professional to join their HR team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interpreting policies, collective agreements, and legislation, ensuring compliance with company obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily advice and counsel on Labour and Employee Relations matters to management and employees.
- Develop and implement corporate best practices, policies, guidelines, and programs that align with the operational needs of client groups.
- Manage the resolution of complaints and grievances, including arbitration and negotiation of settlements.
- Conduct workplace investigations related to the Code of Business Ethics and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Requirements
5-10 years of experience in HR, with a focus on Labour and Employee Relations. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. CHRP designation preferred. Opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with excellent benefits and career growth opportunities.
