Employee Relations Manager

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations cases in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on employment-related issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to plan and deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on employment law and labour law developments to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
  • CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of employment law and labour law.
