Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on Labour and Employee Relations matters to assigned clients/business groups, ensuring compliance with company policies, collective agreements, and legislation.
  • Coach and advise management on employee performance, attendance, discipline, and dismissal, equipping them with necessary tools and training.
  • Foster constructive relationships with labour and employee groups through effective administration of policies, collective agreements, and employment legislation.
  • Manage the resolution of complaints and grievances, including arbitration and negotiation of settlements.
  • Conduct workplace investigations related to the Code of Business Ethics and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the HR division to develop, design, and implement corporate best practices, policies, guidelines, and programs that align with operational needs of client groups.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience implementing HR policies across key disciplines, including grievances and arbitration, employee relations, collective agreement consultation, and employment law.
  • Experience working within Human Resources in a unionized environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • CHRP designation preferred.
