Golf Account Executive

Join PGA's growing golf division as a Field Account Executive-Golf in Illinois. As a key member of our team, you will drive revenue through software demonstrations and lead generation. Your creativity and passion for golf will help us expand our presence in the golf vertical, bringing our team to the next level and empowering golf courses to reach new heights with Lightspeed powered tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source leads and create interest in the Lightspeed Golf suite of products
- Demo Lightspeed's golf product to qualified leads
- Visit golf courses and meet with golf course operators
- Nurture and manage your sales pipeline
- Work with management on pricing negotiations
- Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Help refine internal processes
- Attend trade shows and conferences, when required
Requirements:
- Understanding of the golf industry and a passion for golf
- Experience in golf management
- Willingness and ability to travel and meet golf courses in-person
- Comfortable with online and in-person sales
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate resourcefulness
- Team-first mentality
- Ability to work well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate level of sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Technology literacy
- Experience using sales CRM
- Understanding of retail, e-commerce, restaurant and accounting principles
