Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Central Support Services department, you will be responsible for providing clerical support to our CSS Managers, including processing job postings, registering new hires, and maintaining unit information and employee profiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to CSS Managers, including processing job postings and related paperwork
  • Register new hires in orientation sessions and ensure that managers are aware of staffing levels
  • Maintain unit information and employee profiles in the ESP staff scheduling system
  • Update day-to-day schedule changes in ESP and run staffing reports as requested
  • Coordinate appointment calendars for managers and perform other clerical duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum two years of previous related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required
  • Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required
  • Typing 50 wpm, medical terminology (pass mark 75%) required
  • Knowledge of personal computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Environment for Scheduling Personnel (ESP) or other service-based staff scheduling systems preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills required
Preferred Qualifications

Prior staff scheduling experience is an asset. We also welcome applications from candidates who are proficient in an Indigenous language and/or have knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $44,700 and $48,400 annually, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan, extended health and dental coverage, and paid time off.
