Business Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic account development, negotiation of contracts, and onboarding of new customers. This role requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth strategies across multiple regions
- Negotiate and renew agreements with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure seamless onboarding experiences
- Leverage market analysis and internal tools to inform business decisions
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including internal partners and external clients
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in retail/wholesale grocery
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 50%) and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
