As a Mortgage Development Manager, your role is pivotal in helping Personal Banking clients achieve their dream of buying a home. You will be responsible for developing residential financing strategies that cater to clients' needs, collaborating with both internal partners and external real estate industry stakeholders. Your goal is to establish a strong client base and identify tailored financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement residential financing strategies for purchase, mortgage pre-approval, and external refinancing transactions
  • Identify clients' financial needs and refer them to colleagues specializing in those areas
  • Maintain lasting relationships with external real estate partners by keeping them informed about National Bank's offerings
  • Communicate closely with internal partners to ensure seamless client management and retention
  • Participate in business development activities and events to drive growth
  • Adhere to established processes, ensuring compliance with risk management rules
  • Stay up-to-date with National Bank's mortgage solutions and market trends

You will work closely with three groups: clients, real estate agents, and internal partners. Our comprehensive training program enables you to master your role through on-the-job learning and access to diverse expertise from colleagues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (1 year of experience) or college diploma (3 years of experience)
  • Business development experience
  • Ability to manage business objectives and thrive in a 100% commission-based salary environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing multiple stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage credit solutions and financing products
