We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department, arranging seminars and conferences, and maintaining manual and computerized information filing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals
  • Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Advise senior management
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Provide customer service
  • Maintain and manage digital database
