About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Administrator to join our team at Maxima Properties. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and that our clients are satisfied with the services we provide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and Approve Leases: Negotiate and approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of property owners, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Supervise Support Staff: Hire and supervise support staff performing operational, clerical, or maintenance duties, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the demands of the role.
  • Prepare Contracts: Prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance, repairs, and renovations, ensuring that all parties are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance: Coordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance, and renovations, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor Progress and Costs: Monitor the progress and costs of work for property owners, ensuring that they are aware of any changes or issues that may arise.
  • Ensure Response to Trouble Calls: Ensure a prompt response to trouble calls from clients or tenants, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, as well as other relevant software and systems.
  • Area of Specialization: Property management services, including property maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check, as required by law.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, and organized.
