Job Summary

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Programs Coordinator to join our team. As a Programs Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, conducting needs assessments, and providing general information about our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level support to clients, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine the best course of action for clients.
  • Screen program applications and provide general information about our programs and services.
  • Assist clients in exploring and taking advantage of our programs and services.
  • Provide direct support to program areas as needed.
  • Assist with administrative and finance functions in the region.
Requirements
  • A Certificate in Social Sciences or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of experience in a customer service or administrative environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and accounting practices.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use various administrative and financial systems.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $38.05 per hour to $45.44 per hour.
  • An annual Northern Allowance of $12,839.
