Brandt is actively looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will report directly to the Recruiting Manager and play a vital part in supporting the Human Resources department and recruitment initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include providing administrative assistance to the HR team, generating weekly and monthly reports on HR metrics, preparing and modifying HR documentation as needed, and collaborating with the HR recruiting team on various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in Microsoft Office applications, along with prior experience in Human Resources. Holding a credential in Human Resources and a CPHR designation will be considered advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual, particularly those fluent in French.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer administrative support to alleviate the workload of HR Recruiters.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to applicants, assist in screening candidates, posting job openings, and performing other administrative tasks as required.
  • Contribute to the Recruitment Needs List.
  • Assist in the development and updating of job descriptions and specifications.
  • Manage job postings and ensure Brandt's information is current on recruitment platforms and other media.
  • Support the screening process by reviewing resumes, evaluating candidate suitability, conducting preliminary interviews, and forwarding resumes to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews, pre-interviews, and reference checks as necessary.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to facilitate employment offers.
  • Assist in managing the onboarding process for new hires to ensure smooth integration.
  • Help prepare monthly recruitment reports.
  • Stay informed about the company's organizational structure, personnel policies, and employment law regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Strong customer service orientation with sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient decision-making and organizational skills, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Professionalism, along with organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Advanced computer skills; familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems is a plus.

Required Experience:

  • Certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service orientation and sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient decision-making and organizational skills, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Professionalism, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills; familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems is advantageous.
