Job Summary

Talent Recruitment Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our personnel functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including processing classification, staffing, and other personnel documents.
  • Personnel Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve personnel-related data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Database Management: Manage personnel information databases, maintaining up-to-date records and files.
  • Registration Systems: Maintain registration systems, records, and files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Job Vacancy Management: Arrange for advertising and posting of job vacancies, ensuring timely and effective recruitment processes.
  • Applicant Screening: Screen job applicants, administering and scoring employment tests as required.
  • Reference Checks: Conduct reference checks, verifying candidate information and qualifications.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports, providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance required.
  • Work Environment: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
