Brandt is actively looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

In this role, reporting directly to the Recruiting Manager, the HR Coordinator will play a vital part in supporting the Human Resources department and its recruitment initiatives. This position is responsible for providing essential administrative assistance to the HR team, which includes generating weekly and monthly reports on HR metrics, preparing and modifying HR documentation as needed, and aiding the HR recruitment team with various projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, along with prior experience in Human Resources. A qualification in Human Resources and a CPHR designation will be viewed favorably. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual, particularly those fluent in French.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer administrative support to alleviate the workload of HR Recruiters.
  • Deliver applicant customer service, assist in screening candidates, posting job openings, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Contribute to the Recruitment Needs List.
  • Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and specifications.
  • Post job openings and manage updates to Brandt's recruitment information across various platforms.
  • Support the screening process by reviewing resumes, evaluating candidate suitability, conducting preliminary interviews, and forwarding resumes to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interview setups, pre-interviews, and reference checks as necessary.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to facilitate employment offers.
  • Assist in managing the onboarding process for new hires to ensure their smooth integration.
  • Help maintain the monthly recruitment reports.
  • Stay informed about the company's organizational structure, personnel policies, and employment law.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Required Experience:

  • Hold a certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • CPHR designation is considered an asset.
  • Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and sound judgment.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Show strong decision-making and organizational skills, contributing to a positive working environment.
