Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team at Regina Public Library. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the planning, development, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of the human resources function aligned with our purpose.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective human resource policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines that are aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on human resources-related policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application and compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies for recruitment, performance management, training, and development to support the growth and development of our employees.
- Participate as a senior member of our Leadership Team, providing input and guidance on organizational-wide initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on leadership and strategic planning.
- Proven track record of driving culture changes and people development.
- Excellent coaching and guiding skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving ability, with the ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
