Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Director to spearhead our A.I. platform and Professional Translations offerings. As an individual contributor, you will play a pivotal role in the sales process, from identifying prospects to closing deals, engaging with decision-makers ranging from C-level executives to department heads. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct strategic prospecting and prioritize high-potential leads within your designated markets.
  • Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, balancing immediate and long-term closing timelines.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle, from proactive prospecting and managing inbound inquiries to securing effective deal closures and nurturing ongoing client relationships.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships within assigned accounts and prospects, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing best practice guidance, acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams, and actively managing subscription client accounts to enhance retention.
  • Document client interactions and monitor sales metrics using HubSpot, aligning efforts with corporate strategy and departmental goals.
  • Exhibit creative problem-solving abilities, manage pressure effectively, and consistently achieve monthly sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in strategic selling to complex accounts is essential.
  • Fluency in professional-level English and French is required.
  • Expertise in the legal, financial, or insurance sectors is highly advantageous.
  • A proven track record of managing all phases of the sales cycle successfully.
  • Experience in building and nurturing relationships with C-level executives and senior management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and CRM tools (HubSpot).
  • Active participation on social media platforms (LinkedIn, blogs, etc.) is preferred.
  • A verifiable history of success in selling B2B SaaS solutions is a plus.

Education:

  • College diploma, university degree, or equivalent qualifications.
