Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Business Development to lead our business development and distribution efforts in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and execute a business plan to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in Eastern Canada.
  • Sales and Marketing: Conduct proactive sales calls, meetings, and sales campaigns to promote our product offerings to existing and new financial advisors and investors.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, investors, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Distribution Team to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of financial services sales experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Private equity, alternative investment, equity trading, and/or wealth management experience is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be actively licensed and registered with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA).
  • Travel: Eligibility to travel between the US and Canada to attend meetings; ability to travel as needed.
  • Skills: Highly motivated and self-driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
